KABEAU is a small, independent editorial site. We collect the minimum we need to run accounts and publish reviews, nothing more.

What data we collect
- Account data (email, display name) when you sign up to leave a review.
- Review content you publish on product pages.
- Technical logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.
Why we process it
To operate the site, authenticate you, publish your reviews, and keep the service secure. Legal basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for the account and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for security logs.
Cookies and storage
We only use technically necessary storage to keep you signed in (localStorage session token). No advertising, tracking or analytics cookies are set. If that changes, a consent banner will be added.
Hosting and processors
The site is hosted on Lovable Cloud infrastructure (Supabase, EU region, and Cloudflare for delivery). These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
Retention
Account and review data are kept as long as your account exists. Delete your account and we remove personal data; published reviews may be anonymised so threads stay readable.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Email us to exercise any of these rights.
Third-party links
Product pages may link to brand or retailer sites. Once you leave KABEAU, their privacy policy applies. We do not share data with them.
